EVERYONE was friendly and helpful, back then I would have recommended this place. Today, I wouldn''t recommend this place for anyone. My dad wound up having to go back to the hospital and now needs a rehabilitation place for a short term stay and possibly would have stayed long-term. Please be aware that I do NOT recommend this place for anyone. If I could give this review no stars I would. My mom has spent 3 or 4 short term stays here at St. Pats.
I'm fortunate to live close by so can visit almost daily with my little dog, who is always a big hit with all. I would absolutely recommend the Lourdes Center for your loved ones with memory issues. Some nursing homes support memory care for patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

There are a lot of things that we like about it. It's clean and nice, and the people are nice and very accommodating. They help the patients, and they have a lot of therapy for them. It's laid out nicely, and they have all kinds of amenities for the residents.
Overall, the nursing staff looked out for him. They would bring to administration/supervisor’s attention but it was ignored. I had to follow up with staff continuously to make sure things were done. The chief medical staff/medical supervisor is off site and shows up in the early hours to review notes.

I told the staff this would probably kill my mom as she was completely exhausted from being up for hours on end. I gave 3 stars because mom had an earlier admission to St Pats where she was in a private room and was released after a month, and all went well then. I will always be resentful of St Pats for putting the needs of my mother’s roommate’s family ahead of my mom’s.

The estimated average cost of care for St. Patrick's Home is approximately $10,926 each month. This is greater than the Bronx average of $9,173. However, I've been there a lot, I go there whenever I want, and they accommodate me. Even though when I'm visiting my father, I can really see how they interact with other patients, and I find them really good. They do offer a lot of activities, but my father doesn't want to do any of them.
The only thing that they don't have there, which would be nice if they did, was an actual dialysis service at the facility itself. Their rooms were all right but they only have shared room accommodations, which I don't like. I don't think people should really be sharing room with other people. However, the staff was professional and pleasant when I visited. The Lourdes Center for Memory Care is a beautiful, state of the art setting, utilizing individual and group therapeutic programs. Our guiding principle of "person centered" care is fostered in a home like environment, and brings joy and purpose to each day.
In addition, they can service those who are severely ill and require assistance with daily activities and who must have regular access to health care services. A definite 5 stars for the Lourdes Memory Care Unit at St Patrick’s Manor. My 90-year-old mom is physically healthy but struggles with dementia. She lived with us for 14 months, which was a privilege and challenge, before we moved her to St Patrick’s about 7 months ago. The Lourdes Center is a 27, all female bed unit with private rooms and half-baths.
